CHOI Hanbyol  Secretary General, Korean Disability Forum

From Therese Arnesen's presentation, it was confirmed that the UN has been calling for disability-inclusive policy and institution to respond to climate crisis through its own research, and emphasizing the role of governments to ensure the capacity building of stakeholders and guarantee the active and meaningful participation of groups of persons with disabilities in decision making. .

Climate justice movement is closely connected with everyone's life. And persons with disabilities have already taken the lead in the climate justice movement. Now, we should make multifaceted analysis on the meaning of the struggles of persons with disabilities and strengthen the solidarity.
