Response to Climate Crisis

KIM Nahun  Student President, Student Council of Salesian High School

Many students in our school understand the impending climate crisis which will bring irreversible severe disasters. In order to promote and share ideas to protect the environment and save energy, and ultimately put the ideas into action in our daily lives, we created a student action club to fight against climate crisis, Sohwakhaeng, meaning "small but bold action". Based on the action club, the member students designed “student-led, action-oriented projects” and carried out climate and environment tasks in the school.

Just like everything, our fight against climate crisis begins with more interest and small actions. For this, active government support should be provided including financial assistance from the central and local governments as well as various climate-crisis-related activities.
